My husband and I are designing a logo for my new freelance website. Please leave a comment letting me know which you prefer. Suggestions for modifications are also welcome (by me, anyway, since I don't have to do that editing!)
I recently finished a book by Agatha Christie that you probably haven't heard of.
It doesn't have Miss Marple or M. Hercule Poirot. (That's probably why you haven't heard of it.) And it's not a murder mystery, although it does involve a different kind of mystery. It's about an international conspiracy, a wild journey, and a courageous woman who choses an adventure beyond her wildest dreams.
One of my blog readers told him his favorite photos are the ones where I am looking at the camera and smiling. So in honor of my feast day today (St. Lucy, pray for me!), here are a couple of photos from warmer days. Both are with a lovely couple, Greg and Jacqueline.
I knew we'd gotten some leeks, even though I forgot to weigh them.
We didn't follow the instructions at all. We planted them directly into the ground, I think in May, instead of starting them indoors in February. They aren't as big as they would have gotten if our transplants had survived, but they were still edible.
